  •  please clarify in the body of your diary that he (0+ / 0-)

wasn't allowed to vote and why he was forced to vote provisional.  the diary isn't clear and even after watching the video, it is confusing.

what reason was he given for a provisional ballot? it he truly was prevented from voting even though he has a valid voter registration card, then someone needs to contact the lawyers at the aclu.

in the meantime, a bit more info in the diary would help explain what happened.

thanks - and, yes, we DID let him down - now someone needs to be with him at the polls for the next election to make damned sure this doesn't happen again!  we OWE him that much!

He was told he wasn't on the voter rolls.  Check out some of the craziness that's happening there - there are 115,000 uncounted provisional ballots because they're supposedly so overwhelmed they can't get to them.

Provisionals are like the black hole of the voting world.  They claim they will count 100% - they told him that.  Turns out.... thats not always the case.  You have to go down to defend your vote.  Prove you are who you said you were - so its like 2 days of voting, 2 days of missing work, waiting in line... whole thing is just BS
