    in financial circles it was/is considered stupid NOT to take advantage of vulture capitalism opportunities. In that kind of atmosphere it takes a person of exceptional backbone & strong personal values to refrain from following 'the crowd.'

    Very few politicians have that kind of backbone & personal ethics. It has made it hard to win elections the past 50 years.

    As a voter I want my representatives to have those qualities, but since I'm not the only voter in town, we get mediocre people too often & ugly politics doesn't attract good people.
    Can you blame them from staying away?

    Mr.Smith doesn't go to Washington any more... there are too many impostors there.

    Something that doesn't make good sense, makes bad sense. That means someone is being deliberately hurtful & selfish. Look for motives behind actions & words.
