  •  Nature's pride bread (5+ / 0-)

Was told my a manager in a grocery store that the company is going out of business. Just reading about it, can't believe it. Our family will miss the bread.

How many companies will the CEO's destroy ? Didn't Circuit city get closed similarly ?

Mr. President, throw the ring in the fires of mountain of doom and destroy it. --John Stewart, 2010.

    •  When you see a brand disappear from the store (5+ / 0-)

you should wonder if something like this story is the reason why.

      If it's
      Not your body,
      Then it's
      Not your choice
      And it's
      None of your damn business!

of that at least for a while sitting in the breadbox right now.  Arnold has some bread that is an OK replacement, not as good as Nature's Pride but not too bad. Best Buy may be the next big one to go, it was having a really bad time, I assume this Christmas season is the "make it or break it" for them.

He [Hubert Joly] also says Best Buy must convert people who come into stores to "showroom" - or check out products to buy them cheaper online - into buyers. The struggling electronics chain, based in Minneapolis, tapped Joly in August to reverse a decline in its business. Competition is increasing from online stores, while the weak economy has sapped demand.
