  •  Sorry but it is not an opinion on whether or (0+ / 0-)

not the statement is based in fact or not.

It is an undeniable that if the policy were as stated it would have been already carried out. There is no equivalent force that could prevent it from occurring.

That is the reality and that is why the lie must not be allowed to stand without calling it out for what it is.

    •  Of course there is: (0+ / 0-)

world public opinion would not allow it. Israel very much operates within the constraints of international state pressures, which are in turn influenced by international public outrage. Why do you think Israel spends so much money training a team of hasbaraniks to flood twitter with inane apologetics?

    •  Oh please.... (0+ / 0-)

      Your statement:

If Israel wanted what you say it would have happened already.

Or are you unaware of the largesse of the Israeli military?

is about as far from a "fact" as you can possibly get.

There are many reasons Israel doesn't do something even if it wants to and has the ability to.

Have you never heard of costs and benefits?

Are you unaware of the size of the US military post World War II (infinitely more powerful than Israel)? Are you telling me we didn't want to remove Castro? End the regime in North Korea or Vietnam? We obviously had the ability and the desire.

Your TR remains as demonstrably abusive.

      •  No, we did not want to achieve that goal enough (0+ / 0-)

        to use force.

        If we had, we could.

That is the point then and that is the point now.

To nay say this is to invite a version of reality that is less than what it is.
