  •  When I checked into a motel two weeks ago they (0+ / 0-)

    asked for ID from a government agency. I was surprised and asked about - they said it was the motel chain's policy. I wonder how that will spread?

    Is it true? Is it kind? Is it necessary? . . . and respect the dignity of every human being.

      you didn't have any. I seriously doubt they would have sent you away. In any event, fake id's are easy to get (you can order them over the internet) and while they might not fool the FBI or police they should work fine with a grocery or hotel clerk.
