You tack on a few sentences and a link at the end, but most people reading this piece wouldn't realize he supports several more aggressive reforms than are being currently being contemplated.

For example, he would completely end the filibuster on executive branch nominees.

I agree with her suggestion of eliminating filibusters on exec branch nominees.  She doesn't say how she would get there...the Senate could have a time limit for debate, or it could have a 51% (or even lower, I suppose) requirement for cloture.  I support individual Senators using holds to bargain for specific benefits for their constituents as part of the nomination process, but oppose the supermajority requirement for confirmation
Given the split Congress, President Obama is going to have to act through executive power to get anything done the next few years. Being able to confirm his nominees to important regulatory posts (NLRB, FEC, SEC, Fed, etc) would make a huge difference.

I'm not sure I agree with Bernstein's analysis about how talking filibusters would affect Senate behavior, but debating the long-term pros and cons of various reform ideas might be more useful than simply dismissing people with different takes by crying "Washington media establishment" and "Broderism"
