    every point of criticism directed towards its news coverage is valid. Sesame Street was worth saving, but not its news division.

      Sesame Street is a PBS entity.

      I'm no longer a fan of NPR because of their rightward lurch as described in the comments here (including yours), but NPR has nothing to do with PBS.
