    Somebody has to work so you can watch a movie?

    This is the whole idea of this diary.  Workers just don't matter to consumers.   We are the invisible people.  It's not about where you go... it's about not considering the people who really have no option but work.  Most are not getting extra pay either.

    I've heard that Door Bustin is now considered a "family tradition".

    Take a walk around your neighborhood after dinner.  Helps burn off that turkey bomb.  :)

      And they'll get paid for it. I mean, if you extend the idea you're pushing, why should I ever shop on weekends or after 5:00pm or before 8:30am?  Some worker is going to have to cover those hours.

      I don't know about you, but I think our 24 hour society offers a lot to people that it didn't have when I was a kid and you had to go shopping and conduct personal business during those narrow hours.

      The problem is not the  demand, it's the way the employers are choosing to cover the demand.
