  •  Man, I used to LIKE Rubio (0+ / 0-)

Or rather, I liked him as much as I could like any Republican... but man, he's said some dumb, dumb things lately. Chris Christie is looking so much better lately.

I'm still being disheartened by how anemic the Democratic field is looking lately for 2016. Hillary Clinton is tired, Joe Biden steps on his tongue too often, Julian Castro has refused outright, Andrew Cuomo is an old white man whom no one has heard of besides New Yorkers. We need a rock star soon to replace Obama. Hello, Al Gore???

I'm serious. Anybody less than Al Gore in terms of star quality and we have lost 2016.

    •  Cheer up! (0+ / 0-)

      I really don't think so.

Really, not at all. I'm very optimistic about 2016, even without one of our super-duper rock stars. In fact, even more so without them.

Who heard of Howard Dean before 2003? Obama in 2007? Clinton in 1991?

That's what the primary season is for. The rush by the GOP wannabes to trip over themselves is a concerted effort to turn the page from their 2012.

We don't need to, we need to concentrate on taking back DA HOUSE in 2014.

Cream always rises to the top.

So will our candidates in 2016.

In fact, if this were 2004 all over again, I'd say we might have our first double woman ticket with the first gay candidate at the top...Elizabeth Warren and Tammy Baldwin!

What separates us, divides us, and diminishes the human spirit.
