...I had previous bought the third season of The Big Bang Theory on DVD from Best Buy. As I watched, I learned one of the discs was defective. I knew Best Buy was doing an open all night sales event, so I thought, it's the middle of the night, it won't be too crowded. So I went to exchange my DVDs. I got to the store, and the parking lot was so full that people were parking in other lots across the road and walking. The line was out the door and at a standstill. Once I got in, I saw how tightly everyone was packed in the store. It was like that old classic Star Trek episode where the planet is so over populated that once Kirk is able to look out a window, he sees everyone pressed up against the glass unable to move. It seemed a large number of people there weren't there to shop, but more to pick up. They had ordered whatever they wanted online, and they came into the store to pick it up. Which meant waiting forever as the employees had to run around the store getting whatever people had purchased online. It was insane. It was more people that I've ever seen in a store ever, and it was in the middle of the night.
