  •  Fantastic write-up peregrine kate! What a (14+ / 0-)

beautiful homage to a wonderful evening, and so many touching sentiments expressed.  Very well done, sweetie!!
I am so, so happy others were able to capture images, because (as you know, wink-wink) I was so busy talking and chatting everyone up that taking photos was often an after thought (hate to interrupt such good conversations!)
It was truly a pleasure to meet and talk with such a lively and talented and funny and active group of people, and it makes me very proud to both be from MI and to know you all.
Thank you kate for your hard work and excellent attention, you pulled this off both with speed and panache!
    Hugs to all.
I am getting chores done and doing family stuff, so I will pop in and out when I can.

    •  Thanks, suj! It was a lot of fun, and truly (9+ / 0-)

gratifying to take part. I'm glad that these feelings come through in the diary.
I totally agree with your sentiments about our sisters and brothers in SE MI. What a fabulous group--with more to join in, too.
You are very welcome. And am I ever looking forward to handing off some of the organizing for the next one to you~! ;)

I'm seeking to organize DKos members in SE Michigan--roughly, from the Ohio line at Lake Erie NE to Port Huron, W to Flint and back S from there. If you'd like to join our new group, Motor City Kossacks (working title), please Kosmail me.
