  •  Fox and Fox News are two different things (4+ / 0-)

Fox is the over-the-air channel that carries The Simpsons, which regularly mocks conservative talking points. Fox News is the cable-only channel that serves as the Republican media mouthpiece. I don't know how much overlap there is between the two. I don't watch it enough to know if they have an analog to the CBS Evening News or World News Tonight. Our local Fox outlet has newscasts, but they appear to be locally produced.

Fox has several other cable channels like Fox Movie Channel, Fox Business Channel and various Fox regional sports channels, but when we talk about Fox around here it's generally Fox News (unless we're discussing The Simpsons or how much it sucks that they cancelled Firefly).
