Does it want to push an anti-social, regressive, exploitive, destructive agenda, or does it want to make money and maybe survive? The two goals are increasingly incompatible. Hopefully, it'll stay this way. I'm not just talking about advertising on and therefore promoting hate media, but also making and selling crappy junk food that kills people, garbage TV shows that promote infantilism and selfishness, paying employees slave wages and finding ways to not give them benefits, etc.

I"m not saying that we're about to enter a citizens' utopia. But I sense that the regressive trend of the past 30 years is finally reversing.

    We're moving FORWARD again.

it has been worth trillions for selling war, shitty presidents reps and supremes, deregulation, tax breaks for billionaires, global warming denial, etc.

that is the value of reaching 50 mil a week with unchallenged content and repetition.

IMO the real value of the boycott is  taking away that gravy so they have to figure out how to subsidize it even more.

and maybe of more value is that the references to limbaugh and talk radio in general have really picked up, helping expose  the main cause of of all the crap we've been through the last 20 years.

and it seriously stimulated women voters and activists.

This is a list of 76 universities for Rush Limbaugh that endorse global warming denial, racism, sexism, and partisan lying by broadcasting sports on Limbaugh radio stations.
