  •  Agree the Primary is the sticking point (8+ / 0-)

It depends on which way the republicans go over the next four years. Do they double down on the teabag crazy, or go a little moderate, to catch the changing demographics.

Do primary voters see moderation, as a Romney redux, and what caused them to lose 2012?

Or do they get real and see the problem is their ideology.
Something that is hard to change overnight.
FOX News will have to really moderate and I don't see them doing that.

    •  I can't stand Christie. (8+ / 0-)

But, he stood up to the white-collar fascist crooks, and religious fruitcakes to help teh folks in his state. That will definitely help him win re-election as guvnor if he chooses to go that route.

    •  Christie has another characteristic Repubs (5+ / 0-)

won't tolerate - he's not controllable. Sorta like a rogue Sara Palin with some brains. He'll know when he's being used/manipulated & Jersey bullies do not like that. He doesn't have enough of what it takes to be either an Establishment Repub or a TeaPub. He showed everyone who he can be when he put his state before his party, and  I hope he would do the same if he got into a national office but remember, this is the same guy who killed the new NJ/NY tunnel project which would have created jobs & improved our infrastructure.

As a Dem who spent her youth at the Jersey Shore, I appreciate his choices during Sandy, but I still can't trust him.

Nature created the human race, but humans created racism.
