    I hope that both sides will walk back from the brink.

    Ultimately, the only thing that matters with respect to preserving choice is who will be nominating the next Supreme Court Justices.

      "period of calm" preceding a formal cease fire Israel prefers, many other sources and media groups are reporting a wide variety of details with many similarities. Something is happening, although it does not appear to be a full cease fire yet.

      But, even this is good news, as many were expecting an all out ground invasion of Gaza by Israel.

      But, CNN reports rockets and air attacks are still underway.

      Prior to previous cease fire announcements some factions and divisions  try to fire off all the rockets, or air attacks  they can to accomplish symbolic images of power, or destroy as many specific targets as possible, not knowing for sure when their next opportunity will be.
