        your diary. And that is too bad. NYers walk and take public transportation, discourage driving in every way imaginable -- including ever-higher tolls and vanishing parking places -- and have established new bike paths on major arteries. NYers live in very small spaces, often without air conditioning.

        Let's see Phoenix, or Las Vegas, or Los Angeles' carbon footprint PER CAPITA, eh?
