This Fall holding signs for various Dems, but mostly Joe Kennedy.

Always fun to do this in Massachusetts. Just watching the incredible driving. Two accidents, several near misses, and scores of people running red lights.

But the most interesting thing is the responses from drivers. Besides the usual honks, waves, thumbs up or down, and the occasional finger from people driving company vehicles, we also got this:

A contractor's van goes by. Passenger roles down the window, leans out, throws f-bombs and flips us off. At a busy intersection, in front of several pedestrians.

Do you think I am calling that electrician? Ever? Will those pedestrians? That's the kind of people he hires? Or is?

A woman in a company car stops for the red light (in itself an interesting event around here). Rolls down her window and starts screaming. F bombs. The works. People waiting to cross the street are staring at her and shaking their heads; and looking right at the company info on the car.

"What's her problem?", one person asked.

Business is business. Politics is politics. Why deliberately piss off people?

A society is judged by how well it cares for those in the dawn of life, the children. By how well it cares for those in the twilight of life, the elderly. And, by how well it cares for those on the edge of life; the poor, the sick, and the disabled.
