From Schnatter's lips... he's "not supportive of Obamacare".  The diarist provided no incorrect information, but pointed out that when companies take political positions they shouldn't be surprised when people vote with their spending.

    •  "not supportive".. outrageous!!! (0+ / 0-)

Did you bother to read that article??  He said his business will be able to absorb the costs just fine or pass them along.. wow!  The man is on a one-man mission against Obamacare!

For that matter, I'm not very supportive of Obamacare.  ACA is bad law and will not do the one thing Obama promised us he would do - lower costs of actual medical care or insurance!

      •  Do you think Schnatter would support (0+ / 0-)

        a single payer system?

        •  probably not (0+ / 0-)

          more likely, definitely not!

          But so what?

If you insist on vetting corporate execs on every political issue important to you and boycotting those you disagree with.. well, you're gonna go hungry!

          •  that's a stretch (0+ / 0-)

I didn't insist on anything of the sort.  I will however not purchase pizza from Papa Johns because you know what?  Boycotts work.  Someone like Schnatter is just a warning to other corporate leaders.

Look, it's already having an effect.  Schnatter had to start walking back his earlier comments and come out in defense of the ACA.
