    I like all the characters that are less talked about - Kitty, Kitty's sister (can't remember her name), Levin and others.  Such a wide sweep, so many ideas, so many personalities and points of view.

    I did find Anna's (and Vronsky's) suffering to be almost unbearable at times.  As a 21st-century American, I guess my attitude is:  you made your choice, so get over it!  But of course for them, this choice is HUGE.  Their places in society give them a sense of who they are - to lose society is not an easy thing.

    Anyway, enjoy!

    Also:  I really liked "Into Thin Air".  It was fascinating.
