  •  A seasonal drink mix. (0+ / 0-)

    Ingredients and tools needed

    3 litres grain alcohol.
5 lemons, limes, and oranges. DO NOT PEAL.
300 gm sugar. Cane sugar is even better.
1 litre whole milk, or 0.5 litres cream
    cloves to taste
    2-3 sticks cinnamon
3 clear botlles (1 litre or smaller)
1  large gallon or 4 litre  bottle with stopper or cork
    1 wide strainer
    1 mesh strainger
    10-12 coffee filters.
    Fire extinguisher
911 or fire department pre-dialed on your phone
Take a glass jug, preferably a 4 litre jug that can be stoppered air tight.

Take 5 each-  lemons, limes, and oranges, even a couple of pealed kiwis if you want. Slice them thin, and force them into the bottle. Add 300 grams of sugar, three whole cinnamon sticks, and 6-8 cloves. Add 1/2 - 3/4 liter of whole milk. Cover with grain alcohol (180-190 proof), until you reach close to the top. If you used enough fruit, this should be at least 1-2 litres of grain. Stopper it tight. Shake it a few times, carefully, so the stopper or cork is not disturbed.  Place it in a dark place for at least 72 hours.

If you use cream instead of whole milk, use only 0.5 liters, and make up the difference with grain alcohol.

When you are brave enough to take a peak, extinguish all smoking materials, and remove all pets and small children from the vicinity.

Open the jug (or bottle), making sure that you make no sparks in the process. Grab a large bowl or pot, and use a wide strainer (you will strain and filter three times). Carefully pour the mix into the pot through the strainer. The purpose is to remove the larger pieces. You can gently squeeze the fruit to remove more precious bodily fluids.

    Toss the strained material out.

Next, strain it again, with a finer mesh strainger, to grab and remove all of the smaller bits.

Finally,  take 3-4 one liter bottles, and using coffee filters, slowly pour the resulting liquid into the bottles. Be patient, as this takes a long time. Glaciers have been known to move faster.  One 4 litre bottle should give you 2-2.5 bottles of final product.

What you should see is a lovely, golden, clear liquid, that puts all other after din-din drinks to shame. It should have a fine citrous aroma, and the slightest hint of clove and cinnamon. Drink carefully, and keep away from all flames.

If the result is not pleasant, you still have the makings of a wonderfully aromatic Molotov Cocktail.

The name of this wonderful drink? Mother's milk.

What we call god is merely a living creature with superior technology & understanding. If their fragile egos demand prayer, they lose that superiority.
