    customer service.  I had to do this with my Dell keyboard which came warped.  Can you imagine typing on a warped keyboard?  Tech service kept trying to get me to re-install software.  The foreign tech did not understand the word warped, or not level.  After going round and round with him.  I called customer service, and they sent one right out to me.

    Could it be you are not talking to the right person at Dell?  I know when my new Lexmark printer kept giving problems, I finally said, look, I want a new unit.  The printer does NOT work and hasn't since the day I got it.  They sent a new one and it works perfectly.

      They're good at apologizing "for my inconvenience" and promising to fix things, but then the next thing happens.  I've asked for a new replacement computer, been denied,  and if anything more goes wrong, I'll try Customer Service.  I've had my computer guy out here 4 times to set up my puter after new parts get put in (fortunately not necessary this time), but would gladly pay him again if they sent me a reliable unit.
