    thankful for today, including the fact that Mitt Romney wasn't elected and Barack Obama was.

    Yesterday I told my wife that in the midst of all the shit happening in our lives and in the world, when I think that the election is OVER and that we won (!!!!!!) a very quiet, satisfied feeling settles over me.

    The first black president has a chance to consolidate his wins and look for more. He's been a lot more patient and calm than I have, and for that I'm thankful, too.
