phonier outrage than GOP outrage, and when it comes to Benghazi, it's the phoniest ever.

There is no such thing as an off year election. Every election effects each other. We need to work as hard in 2014 as we did in 2012.

That's what it means to be a Republican in Congress these days. They are Phony leaders of America.

The Democrats create jobs. The Republicans create recessions.

I just saw this situation in a new light. It is sort of like Birtherism. It's not phony outrage so much as redirected outrage. Their state of outrage is over having lost the election, and is "all because of this terrible, awful negro" in the White House. But they can't really admit that, even to themselves, so they channel that energy into other outlets. Orly is stuck in Birther mode, others have moved on. It gives them something to anchor their hopes. They think they've got the goods on him, if only they could figure out exactly what those goods are.

This is a positive in the sense that it probably is keeping some of the more unhinged of the disappointed cult members from taking violent action. Just like the Birthers, as long as they have what is in their minds a reasonable hope that they can get rid of Obama, it may keep them within the bounds of appropriate behavior. Meanwhile, again like Birtherism, their beliefs and theories on "Benghazigate" are off-the-wall enough to make non-indoctrinated Americans think of them as loons. Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert may help nudge that perception along as well.
