    a deterrent, but I have never tried it myself.
    Maybe a Pootie Pad would help, if you don't already have one.

      Might try that if the problem persists....she's been a lot better with the carpet today, so hopefully we won't need to try it. Maybe with the cords, given she loves her some string.....and that's not going to change anytime soon ( she shows all the signs of being quite the little huntress - the cuties often are..... ).

       We don't ave a pootie pad -- but we do have a 'nip bush. And she seems to be a nip head......

        also heard about soaking hot red pepper flakes in water, draining out the flakes and using the water in a spray bottle.

        Be careful what you spray directly on the carpet, may stain or change color of the dyes used.
