    are all potential methods of controlling ticks in a yard. You don't need a bunch of them. Just a few to eat the bugs.

    Otherwise our yard would crawl to the next county.

      I'm disabled and can't take care of them. I'm trying to attract birds to my yard because I've been told some of them eat ticks too. Thanks for the advice, though.

        insectivores is to stock your feeders with suet. I don't know how much this will help with ticks, but it does help with grasshoppers, spiders, and mosquitoes.

        There is another method for controlling ticks. It's a chemical method, but a less invasive one. It involves using a PVC pipe, some carpet remnants and a bit of pesticide.

        If you do not spray your yard with pesticides, then if you have a friend with fowl, they might be able to bring some birds for a day to pick your yard over.
