we generally have 2-5 people per day with low level purchases, or 1 or 2 with big $$, some days none. But this, I think was worth a lot of advertising dollars I would never have, just in the range of reaching faraway people and also the locals telling their friends.

The first customer was the owner of the local hardware store, trying to find vintage look clothing for the kids who'll be in her Christmas float for the parade next week. I had a tweed newsboy's cap and wool scarf, and a porkpie hat and plaid scarf, snd a vintage parkbench. Also referred her to a Koskatalogue dealer of vintage clothing. She walked out saying 'I'll be back- I had no idea y'all had so much'

The last guy today was a Houston area African-American fellow who found a vintage Afro pick and a black Stetson; he was a dead ringer for Mr. Obama in that photo with the cowboy hat, and I complimented him and told him so.

      A very good day.

Fortunately, the Obama compliment worked there.  Especially given your particular state of residence :) .
