    to staff small clinics in every neighborhood across the land that would provide basic primary care to all comers. Hundreds of thousands of jobs.

    Real reform was never on the table. Doctors are not the problem. InsCo and Big Pharma are, and they have come through this "reform" pretty much unscathed.

    And here we are yet again debating which phony solution to a phony crisis would be best... as the nation marinades in seemingly endless recession. Which congressional "gang" is working tirelessly to create 20+ million jobs? Where's Obama's unequivocal one-line commitment to do something about that?

      faculty, I understand which could present a problem to your plan. I do like the idea, however.

        the will. Our grand bargaineers probably lack the latter.

        (Practitioners require a couple of years in med school, too, I believe.)
