  •  I remember reading that in the 70's, assuming (0+ / 0-)

    that marijuana legalization was a matter of time, the tobacco brands were busy trademarking all the popular names like Acapulco Gold, Maui Wowie, and the like. But they were unwilling as being seen pushing for legalization of marijuana, after all, they had the market cornered on a far more addictive substance -- nicotine. Why take the risk on being seen as drug pushers? People might have put 2 and 2 together and realized what they really were all along.

    To me progress is not so much a goal as it is a process and I believe it will not follow a straight course. Remember, the drops of water that form the river may not take the shortest path but they will still reach the ocean.
