  •  I have no idea why Fiorina gets invited (23+ / 0-)

to these cable talk shows. She has held no public office, was a complete and total failure at business, but she's still suddenly a freaking go-to expert on public pensions? Not to mention also an instant expert on what's fair and what retirees need to survive? Worse, she carries that certain ugly haughty narcissism - smirky-superior to everyone else, yet has never taken any responsibility nor exhibited any shame for the damage she did to HP. I took great pleasure in being part of the California electorate who made certain she went nowhere! These types rise to the top (for awhile) because their sociopathic smug confidence is perennially confused with competence. As part of normal negotiations, public unions should demand that their pensions are to be contractually inviolate. Meanwhile, the geniuses on cable need to stop wasting good airtime on phonies like Fiorina - effective immediately!

    •  She parrots the conservative talking points (10+ / 0-)

So that's why the media pushes her on us.

Where are all the jobs, Boehner?

      •  Particularly David Gregory. His "Panel" On (9+ / 0-)

Meet The Depressing included all hard core right wingers including himself and one lone progressive (Al Sharpton).

The panel discussion was awash with their non-reality and then Al Sharpton brought them back to focus on reality.  They were all stunned, saying oh yeah that is the way it actually was or the way it actually occurred

Really?  A balanced panel includes David Gregory (Tea Party), Andrea Mitchell (Tea Party), David Brooks (Tea Party), Carly Fiorina (Tea Party), Burns (Who Knows), and Al Sharpton (Lone Person In Reality-Based)

And NBC is considered the "Liberal Side of Media"?

The Meet The Press panel never reflects the face of America.  No Asians, No Hispanics, Rarely LGBT, an occasional token black.  No people of modest means and instead always very wealthy people.  Year after year.

    •  Absolutely (3+ / 0-)

What a panel on today's Meet the Press.  First David Gregory is such a whimp and dipshit, don't know how NBC chose him to replace Russert.  He never presses anyone on giving answers to questions they are asked and allows "talking poins" all the time.  He really coddles Republicans.  He's a "shitty", inaffective host at best.  Carly Fiorina is a rich, know nothing loser and destroyer of American jobs and companies, what the hell does she know about anything?  While I like Ken Burns, how does he fit in on this panel and really isn't his forte making documentaries? Brooks is a Republican "Toady" and the business guy really has no real knowledge of what it's like living paycheck to paycheck and let's remind him, we won not the Tea Bagging asses and the GOP.  Rev. Al was our man but boy I wish we had Matthews, Maddow of O'Donnell there.  Really sick and tired of these shows with "ball-less" moderators and allowing the losers in the GOP to dominate the conversations!

      •  Meet the Press has no relevance whatsoever (3+ / 0-) 2012 America.
The show is merely a tool to catapult the propaganda for greedheads for whom enough is NEVER enough.

They could be worth 50 million dollars and they still need to accumulate more by looting pension funds or squeezing nickles out of working Americans.

America would be better off WITHOUT Meet the Press and the scumbag bullshit artists that populate it and are served by it.

David Gregory is a complete piece of shit who will never rise any higher in life than being Karl Rove's dance partner.

That's the peak of his accomplishments.

It doesn't buy character, morals, patriotism or common sense.
