  •  I live near a couple of streams (12+ / 0-)

    that feed the Wisconsin River which, of course, feeds the Mississippi.  Except for a mere handful of days, they've been extremely low for almost a year.  You've got to remember we had next no snow last winter.  The guys who make some needed cash plowing people's private roads and drives were really hurting.

    You may remember part of my state had severe flooding earlier this year.  One killed a number of zoo animals in Duluth-Superior.  A lot of that rain hit the Lake Superior watershed.

    My private deep water well is okay so far but if it dries up I'm fucked.
