    conditions. This Houston Chronicle link is a map of the drought conditions in Texas as of November 26, and it's not pretty. I'm afraid 2013 will have drought conditions that may be similar to the horrible drought we had in the spring and summer of 2012. We last had rain at my house in Houston over a month ago. We had some good rains in September, but I'm not looking forward to another dry winter.  The previous drought really stressed, devastated, and killed lots of trees around Houston (my yard included).  The new and replacement trees really need some good rains if they're going to have a chance to stand up to another drought this coming year.
