  •  Did this 47% get promised "Free Stuff"? (4+ / 0-)

Because, really, why else would they have voted for Mitt?

Romney promised his 47% of voters that if he was president, they would have more disposable income to spend on crap for themselves without having to pay for the physical and social infrastructure that makes a stable, free society possible.

Romney even conned millions of poor white voters into thinking that if they voted for him, they wouldn't have to pay into benefits for the coloreds, when in fact many of our social programs overwhelmingly support Romney voters.

And with respect to Romney's true constituency, if one buys more yachts with lower taxes without suffering any social consequences, then the yachts were free, right?

This is the ultimate irony of Romney blaming his defeat on transactional politics -- his entire campaign was based on the implicit promise of transactions that would favor his voters.  Romney's proposed transactions simply proved unpopular.

    •  Sure! (0+ / 0-)

They don't pay taxes, they don't work and they expect government handouts like corporate welfare, bailouts, subsidies, tax shelters, government contracts....  they are the 47%!!
