  •  Have you ever tried to get in the way of a man (0+ / 0-)

on a mission to beat someone down?

Women are lighter, and lack upper body strength. She would have to go at him with a lead pipe to beat him off of her girlfriend to make that happen, or go after him with a carving knife.

Otherwise, he would just toss or kick her aside with the other women.

It could have happened so fast too, that it took a second to register. Having something like that go down in front of you can be quite shocking.

an innocent human being from this, enter the lead pipe and the carving knife...

and after the wrench attack, this shouldn't have come as time-stopping shock to anybody.

I even have to give a tiny sliver of blame to the victim...she was a fool to ever enter this household again...

And I would do it again and again. If I had to stab dear brother then so be it. I pulled a knife on  my own father one night to protect my Mother. It's called being a human being.

      •  That might be what you would do, but you cannot (0+ / 0-)

predict what other people will do when directly faced with violence.

Some rise to the occasion and some do not. Decisions to do so depend upon the situation as much as the people themselves.

It looks bad, but I need more data before I sling blame at anyone but the attacker at this point.
