  •  If anything, Cuccinelli is the favorite right now (4+ / 0-)

    to be elected Governor of Virginia in 2013. That is, unless we can turn out the Obama "coalition" of 2012.  I'd point out that we didn't manage to do this in 2009, after Obama won Virginia in 2008, and ended up with "Transvaginal Bob" McDonnell as our governor. Ugh.

        since Obama's most enthusiastic supporters - young people and African-Americans - are the least likely to actually come out for off-year elections, while his biggest nay-sayers, grumpy old white people, have the largest turn-out. That's what killed us in 2010, not the mythical "disaffected Democrat".
