    Thank you for your kindness!

I try, mama jo....  I really try.  About 99% of our politicians disappoint us by all the give-aways to the corporations and banks and Casino Wall Street and everything that is inherently bad for the people who worked so hard to get them elected.

A nice, simple, not-for-profit, single-payer health insurance program run through Medicare.  No overhead to worry about.  It would provide a ton of new jobs (and lots of tax money for the treasury).  It would be the first step to catching up with civilized countries around the world (I still like the systems int he Scandinavian countries the best).

It wouldn't be difficult at all....

But insurance, medical, and pharmaceutical corporations will now join oil, MIC, and mercenary corporations for record-setting profits, all thanks to our Congress Critters who let them write the laws that benefit the corporations.  Then $COTU$ piled it on by making the premiums into a tax..., with the money skipping the step where it goes to the US treasury first.  Straight from us to corporate profits, executive bonuses, and record-setting profits to pay to shareholders.  "Seems like" it's a way to launder money in a circular flow between corporations.

What a kick in the teeth for We The People!  [Speaking of which, include dental and eye care in with a sensible not-for-profit, single-payer health insurance program.]

Meanwhile, undeclared wars against criminal gangs go on unabated, wasting more of our money that could be spent here in the US.

So..., remind me again why we had elections?  So we could be metaphorically stabbed in the back and robbed by the very people we sent to DC to do things that benefit all of us, not the bloody corporations....?

Thanks for being a dear and considerate person, mama jo.  The world is a better place for people like you~♥~!

I'm sick of attempts to steer this nation from principles evolved in The Age of Reason to hallucinations derived from illiterate herdsmen. ~ Crashing Vor
