    Maryland would have had a chain of Democratic governors since Spiro Agnew resigned to become vice president in 1969.

      consecutive governors indicted. And in a spirit of bipartisanship one was Republican (Agnew) and one was a Democrat (Marvin Mandel).

      I guess that means that, while we may have crooks, eventually we catch up with them.

      Whatever. Maryland is still a great place to live.

      You fell victim to one of the classic blunders, the most famous of which is "Never get involved in a land war in Asia".

      that Kathleen Kennedy did not win that race in 2002.  What happened?

      •  She ran a shitty campaign (0+ / 0-)

        and Glendening's tenure was less than stellar, especially towards the end when he divorced his wife and married a staffer who was much younger than him.
