I think Cuyahoga's acceptance rate was better than 85%, mostly for valid reasons, primarily people who were not registered. In the early voting room, we were told to let everyone have a ballot, even if it was clear they weren't even a citizen. But that ballot did not count.

The chair of the Democratic Party in blood-red Warren county in southwest Ohio said their acceptance rate was 82%. I think we will do better.

Husted's little technicality, which I am still having a hard time figuring out, probably didn't disenfranchise more than a handful of people. Other than that, he really can't touch the provisionals. I spent almost two weeks doing the process of vetting them, and the reasons for rejection are not arbitrary, even if Husted is. Personally, I think he fought to have that handful of provisionals – which don't impact anything — tossed just to be a dick.

By the way, I was also involved in opening the provisional envelopes and prepping the ballot pages for scanning. I can tell you there is going to be a TON of pickup for Obama.

    Jon Husted is a dick.
