  •  Well there's the hirelings such as Plouffe, (0+ / 0-)

mentioned in the article cited, as well as the likes of Bowles of Catfood Commision infamy, and Geithner, whose Herculean efforts to save the banks at homeowners', and tax payers' expense will echo ignominiously through time, acting as dead weight on the economy and putting us still at risk of yet another crisis of inadequately regulated capitalism. And need I mention he that hired them?

As for elected Democrats, besides he that hired those mentioned above, I'll offer just one well know representative of that type, Dick Durbin, also mentioned in the article cited with recent quote provided:

Durbin said it was not responsible to demand that entitlement reforms be off the table.

“I listened to voices from the left, and many of them say, ‘don’t touch any of the entitlement programs’,” Durbin told MSNBC’s Morning Joe on Tuesday. “I don’t think that’s a responsible approach.”

is a heavily charged misread on "Democrats", as if they were one monolithic block intent on screwing the people that just reelected and promoted them.
And while I can see some Democrats that are looking out more for the 1% than for the rest of their constituents, it's not the party's policy and it's not the agenda for most of the Dems in Congress and the Administration.
What it is, is one of the PureLeft talkingpoints for damning ALL politicians except the marginal 3rds who stand no chance of taint because they'll never get elected in the first place.

If I ran this circus, things would be DIFFERENT!
