    nothing to complain about in terms of increased need for food banks, indigent health care, unemployment and welfare for starters.

    Older people have debt too. Not hiring them means no bitching about it when they cannot pay their debts and have to default instead.

    There comes a time when people need to look at long term consequences, and multiple branches of simultaneously consequences.

    This also means more people in the sandwhich generation caring for aging parents and school age kids. Which means less shopping, looking for smaller homes, cheaper cars, and cutting all sorts of corners.

    So do, keep making excuses for employers that discriminate against our experienced generations.
