    actually would cut into a lot of real small businesses, as I understand it. GOP likes to say $250k would "devastate" small businesses, but only 4% of "small business" owners are above $250k. I haven't been able to find the exact percent of those above $100k, but I believe it is significantly higher.

    business aside, $100k may be on the high side of middle class, but it is still middle class. Families with that kind of income are comfortable, but hardly wealthy.

      Most of us define small business by income. The Rethugs cynically define it by number of employees, and write laws that way. Yup, capital and hedge funds with billions and billions invested are "small businesses" that way. Goddamned Bain Capital could qualify.
