  •  HoundDog - correct the title. (21+ / 0-)

You got the vote tally correct in the diary (138-9) but the diary title stands at 134-9.

Nonetheless - ain't this great news!

      •  138-9 is one helluva lopsided victory. (10+ / 0-)

I didn't wanna cheat the Palestinians out of a single country!

        :0)

David Mizner got us the list of the crappy "No"-voting Rogues Gallery.  Who votes to keep millions of people stateless?  Who does this?

Now I have to find out who the cowards were that abstained.

        •  BTW way I forgot to thank you for the heads up (6+ / 0-)

correction.  As I am reading through the comments I can't help notice what a good mood you seem to be in.  Thanks this helps.

When you joked upstream about getting back to reccing' all the comments except the "grumpy" ones I laughed and almost made a build on joke about how we need to be cautious lest the I/P post get the reputation as the "feel good - mojofest" ambiance of the pootie diaries, but then common sense and almost three quarters of a decade of a mood similar to "cobra juggling" kicked in and I thought better of it.

Never-the-less I am heartened to see any of the poor folks in the Middle East who still favor a peaceful two-state solution to have something to celebrate, as I agree with those that think this enhances those prospects more than sets them back, although I understand the deeply passionate feelings of those that disagree.

          Time will tell.

          •  I wanted you to look good, HoundDog. (6+ / 0-)

You don't want to go onto the Rec List with yer drawers hanging out because of an inaccurate title.

            :o)

I would have enjoyed the "pootie" joke, BTW.  That's serious comic relief, there.  After all, I/P has a "reputation" to uphold - sad as that is.

I caught word of the vote through an online search and came here to see if anybody had noticed.  You had, so I decided to celebrate the terrific news here with my I/P friends.

Those who may oppose this are fans of the status quo, which was impossible to maintain and honestly immoral.  Likud and Hamas are the big losers here, as they are the war mongers in this mess.  Both of them got sent a message by most of the planet today.  They heard it and immediately shit their pants.

I'm gonna go have a smoke and then return for some more fun.  See you around the comments, HD.

Oh, and I almost forgot . . . yer kindly welcome.
