  •  They might as well claim they can write no more (4+ / 0-)

lawsmore laws because they have run out of vowels, or consonants, for the matter. Dollars are like the letters of the alphabet, symbols. We can invent as many of them as we want. Or rather, the Congress can because the Congress is in charge of U.S. currency. "Not enough money," is a lie when uttered by a member of Congress. If the President says it, it is likely true because Congress has refused to provide the money.
Why would Congress do that? Because they are in a punitive mood. The residents of the U.S. and those serving abroad have to be punished because they keep insisting on telling Congress what to do. Instead of being good stewards, Congress is bent on being insubordinate and showing the citizenry who's the boss. And, being cowards, they come down hardest on those who can't fight back -- the halt, the lame, the young, the very old and, for good measure, any available members of the female persuasion.

We're not buying' it, Mr. and Mrs. Congressperson. If you don't know you can create as much money as needed with the stroke of a pen, you need to self-deport, because you obviously don't know your job.

We organize governments to provide benefits and prevent abuse.
