    the Dems should be willing to do this to protect themselves in the future from reforms later. If this accomplishes something, maybe a McConnell would have no power to force something more draconian through.

      If the Republicans get a majority they will ram through their changes on the first day of the session.  They used budget reconcilation in an unprecedented way in the Bush years to hepl destory our country through stupid and unnecessary wars (use both adjectives since all wars are stupid and a failure of policy but sometimes they are necessary).

      Why are these people - i.e. Democrats - in government if not to move an agenda forward that makes our country able to have a better future or at least not a worse future?  Use every means necessary in accordance with the law.

      Remember Terry Schiavo and the importance of limited government for real in the world of Republicans.
