For example, I follow Paul Krugman.  Now I know when he posts a new blog post or when his column has gone up on the Times.  I don't have to go look for it.  It's right there in my feed, with a handy-dandy link to go right to it.

I follow Markos.  He tweets whenever he writes a diary.  I might not get on Dkos some days, but if I know he's written something that looks interesting, then I have the link directly to it.

I don't tweet, I don't follow things that are irrelevant to my interests.  I find it more economical in terms of time and space than using an RSS feed.

    •  Kos tweets during the debates were great. (0+ / 0-)

A lot of the tweets on CSPAN are hilarious, if for
the wrong reasons. It feels tedious and demeaning
to have to read them. Sort of like the comments
on any yahoo or other online new stories.

I wish I could just tweet
      and not read them.
Or had a bot to do it for me.
      Hey Great Idea!

Good thing there are some of the young ones who
are and will be pushing back against the vile tide.
Twitter is strategic and tactical high ground.
It can help move windows and GOTV.

Thanks for all of your efforts.
