policy. I happen to agree with Kos on this; the entire GOP today is based on CT, and we become powerless to argue against it if we provide sanctuary to people promoting lefty CT. So no CT is allowed (nor is giving someone a retaliatory HR, which you also did). Maybe you should have gotten another chance, maybe not. But you could continue on in this community with your new id (and newfound appreciation for the rules) if you'd like. No harm done, really. It seems to me that you are deciding to call it quits either because you don't like the anti-CT rule or because you don't like how aggressively it (or the no-retaliatory HR rule) is enforced. There are things every one of us doesn't think is perfect about the site, yet we don't quit. Good luck finding that perfect site you desire.

those of us who missed it, what the putative conspiracy was. I've seen a certain Ohioist claim that known established facts were "CT", such as that last minute patches were made to some voting machines. To them "CT" is whatever they wish not to hear.

      •  John Kerry lost in 2004. (0+ / 0-)

Any discussion that is counter to that simple fact is an indulgence in CT, and I will not conspire to be part of any such discussion. I strongly suggest you take heed of this site's policy regarding CT and either stop talking about Ohio 2004 or take the conversation elsewhere. It's a big internet; there is no reason people must discuss here what this community does not allow.

        •  OK, so you have no clue or no desire to (0+ / 0-)

clarify what the dispute was and simply want to shout and bluster. Thanks.

          •  The "dispute" over the election (0+ / 0-)

is not subject to discussion, because there really is no dispute. The dispute over someone being banned is okay to discuss. But I have nothing to add to that discussion. Not sure what your problem is.

            •  I asked for information and you gave me a (0+ / 0-)

ration of shit and continue to fail to address my question. Thanks. I forgot to whom I addressed the query, my bad.

              •  Your question is related to (0+ / 0-)

CT. So no, I will not engage in such a conversation, and neither should you. If you want to learn about the "theories" on Kerry losing in 04, the internet offers plenty of them. But this is not the place. This site is CT-free, which is the rule of the site owner but also something that most of us believe to be the correct policy. I'm not giving you shit, I'm giving you facts.

                •  Your answer is fallacious horseshit, you (0+ / 0-)

cannot answer the question I asked and so you babble about totally unrelated bullshit.  BTW, you shouldn't spout off about CT until and unless you get at least some faint inkling of what it means, which it is clear that you do not possess. It is not some ding an sich that meterializes from and hangs about in the either. If a person is legitimately accused of CT, then they need to have made an identifiable statement making identifiable assertions. If you cannot identify such assertions, then you have no case and are simply saying "I dislike you/your speech".

                  Bye.

      •  exactly, el, who decides what is CT (0+ / 0-)

not meaning to say, that I don't think genuine CT exists.

But a discussion to sort our the facts and logic on an assertion/thought to me is not CT.

When one starts to push an idea without thought, fact or research, and it is on the margins, we'll that might indeed be CT.

Frequently CT gets defined by the loudest voice screaming:  CT, CT.

Now, Kos did place a silence on computer election fraus.

        No comment on that one.

It is enough that the people know there was an election. The people who cast the votes decide nothing. The people who count the votes decide everything. ~~Joseph Stalin
