    I've long hoped some other choices could crack the Democratic/Republican hegemony.

    Alas, all in vain.

        and others.

        The Democratic alternatives certainly were superior to George Wallace and Ralph Nader.

        In 1992, Ross Perot was championing a $.50 per gallon tax, a balanced budget, and opposed NAFTA.

        He would have been an interesting choice.
