    And they may be the same planes we have now, provided the various algae based fuel providers can produce enough jet fuel.  The Navy already uses such fuels.   The difficulty is in the land area required

      military is experimenting with biofeuls for jets.  If it can be developed this fast, it can probably be improved.  Jet flight may become much more rare outside the military, and more expensive, but probably won't go away completely.

      The military takes climate change seriously.  To plan for national security, they have to be willing to look at what's actaully happening in the world.  They know it's real.

      As for Congressfolk commuting to and from DC, maybe it's time we built some high speed rail around here, hmmm?  Powered by wind and solar, of course.
