    I drive all the time. So do my friends and family.

    Nobody listens to talk radio. Not one of us. Heck, most of my friends have satellite radio. Myself, I connect my iPod to the player.

    I think you're offering a solution for which a problem does not exist.

    You're trying to regulate the size of buggy whips.

      Sounds like you're living inside your wealthy hipster high-tech bubble and are completely unaware of the huge percentage of the population that still relies on traditional media sources.

      And guess what? Those uncool old-timers you've apparently never met - they vote. In fact, 70% of listeners to old-fashioned terrestrial talk radio vote. Far more than the general population. So you ignore their "buggy whips" at your own peril.

      some people who do not now listen to talk would.  I listen to NPR and some alternatives would be nice.
