    So people who are trying to communicate with each other about coordinating their efforts to rescue a particular dog cannot share information meaningfully.
    There are a hundred methods by which they could share that information meaningfully.

    It's just that those methods aren't necessarily on Facebook.

    I can think off the top of my head of at least five different platforms or solutions that would enable the time-stamped and ordered sharing of information, and at least a few of them are to my knowledge completely free and require only a little bit of setup.

    So perhaps instead of writing as if Facebook is somehow now bound by an obligation to this organization, despite Facebook having never agreed to terms that bound them to any such obligation, the diarist might look into alternative solutions instead—particularly if, as he suggests, dogs' lives are on the line.

      I don't get why this isn't an easy option. Set up a private group, put all the people you want to in the group and Bob's your uncle.
