    the kinda book I normally read. Stayed in Chicago a couple years at the Kimpton Hotel Palomar and they had a White City art motif that fascinated me. I wasn't familiar with that world's fair before then. If I remember correctly from coffee table books in the hotel lobby, there was a women's art pavillion with a Mary Cassatt (I think) mural about women workers, now lost. A side of Cassatt I'd never seen!

    I loved Chicago. (I'm from Philly.) Saw Craig Ferguson tweet that Chicago and Italy are two places where he feels "I could live here" when he visits, and I was like, "Yes!" Italy would be warmer, though. :)
